After “conquering” the world with her Renaissance Tour, Beyoncé continues to make history with her new album, Act II.
Billboard announced that the Grammy winner reached No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, with her new song “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Rolling Stone reports that the achievement makes her the first black woman to top the chart since its inception in 1958. Also, the song peaks at number two on the Hot 100, behind Jack Harlow's "Lovin on Me."
Beyoncé announced her new album on February 11. Shortly after its ad premiered, the singles “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” became immediate successes on streaming services. The first song had 19.2 million official streams, while the second—10.3 million.
