Angelina Jolie encourages her kids to 'avoid' their dad, Brad Pitt

14:55, May 10

Angelina Jolie encouraged her children to “avoid” their father, Brad Pitt, claims a security guard who worked for the couple, PEOPLE reports.

The accusation comes amid the former couple's ongoing and increasingly contentious legal battle over their French winery, Chateau Miraval.

Pitt's lawyers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court a statement from security company owner Tony Webb, who worked for Jolie, 48, from 2000 to 2020; he claims Jolie fired him but still works for Pitt, 60.

In his 12-page statement, Webb claimed that Jolie's assistant named Michael Vieira called him and tried to enlist his help to dissuade two bodyguards who worked for Jolie through Webb's company SRS Global from testifying in her separate custody battle with Pitt over their children.

“During the conversation, Mr. Vieira told me that he had heard that two contractors who provided personal security for Ms. Jolie through SRS Global may testify in the case in family court,” Webb said. “He asked me to stop these two people from testifying.”

“One of the two people, Ross Foster, clarified that he intends to testify regardless of the non-disclosure agreement if he receives a subpoena. Foster said that if asked, he would testify about instructions he overheard Jolie give to children telling them to avoid spending time with Pitt.”
