YEREVAN. – Armenia’s song for Eurovision 2014 Song Contest, which will be held in the Danish capital city Copenhagen, is selected. The Armenian artistic group of the song contest had received over 75 song entries from Armenian and foreign composers.
The selected song, along with its music video, will be released no later than March 15. At the initiative of the Eurovision organizers, everyone will be able to appear on this year’s song contest if they perform “Only Teardrops,” the song which brought victory to Denmark’s Emmelie de Forest at Eurovision 2013 Song Contest, or dance to this song, and be recorded on JoinUs.dk.
The best performances will be screened at this year’s contest, and the best dancers will be invited to perform on the contest stage.
On February 3, famous Armenian showman and singer Aram MP3, who will represent Armenia at Eurovision 2014 Song Contest, released the cover version of “Only Teardrops,” in his own style and imagination, spiced with Armenian musical instruments.
