Sunday was the seventh annual International Go Topless Day and bare-breasted women around the world marched topless through New York in support of women's rights. Women gathered in Manhattan with placards and banners - and without their tops.
The movement states as its mission 'As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right. Or else, men should have to wear something to hide their chests,' Daily mail reported.
'New York is the ideal location for the world's first GoTopless Pride Parade,' said Rachel Jessee, GoTopless spokesperson and leader of Go Topless in NYC.
'Since 1992, it's been one of the few cities in the United States or the world where women's topless rights are already recognized by law. We hope that by participating in annual topless festivities, New York City women and women around the world will feel increasingly comfortable to go topless in public,' Jessee said.
It should be mentioned that the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, Scout Willis was also faighting for this right but it's unclear if Willis was part of the parade.
