Letting his eyes close a little, the star seemed rather relaxed and comfortable on the busy train.
Of course, New York is chilly at the moment, so the actor was rather incognito as he wrapped up in a red woollen beanie, a scarf and a big duffle coat, which he wore with grey pants.

He told New York Magazine: 'Nobody looks at anybody on the subway. Occasionally someone might give you a thumbs-up, and you nod.
'But the city is magnificent as far as that brand of easy anonymity. You just fold right in.'
