YEREVAN. An exhibition-sale of handmade items was held Saturday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, and there were so many unique and festive works on each exhibition table to choose from.
But two items were especially worthy of note: One was a handmade soap, together with the signs of the four elements—water, earth, fire, and air—, in which next year’s symbol was hidden. And the second were small white snakes that were frozen in tar.
The Christmas and New Year gift items at the exhibition-sale included jewelry, soft toys, handmade scarves, and brightly decorated Christmas tree toys.
