Sincere revelations of Eva Rivas

14:47, January 29

Famous Russian singer of Armenian origin Eva Rivas published a post for the people who remember and love her, on her Facebook page.

“I am always away from Armenia, and rarely appear in Yerevan. It has been long time since I released new songs. I could not communicate with my fans, pay attention to them, but I have partially solved that issue for myself. I signed up in many major social networks and communicate with fans, answer their questions, and post photos of my ordinary daily life, some judge me, other - on the contrary - are glad and support me in my actions, but the main thing for me is to show people and my fans that I am the same person as they are, ordinary and simple.

I also laugh, I cry, I can love, suffer and grieve. On stage, maybe I am different from you, but then I come home and turn into my mom’s and dad’s daughter. You call us ‘stars’, but do not understand that you are the ones giving us a reason to go even higher and move away from you. I am not drifting, I approach to those who are same as I am, because my songs, my music is just for you, and I exist as an artist, only thanks to you and your love. Thank you very much, that you exist! Thank you, for not forgetting, loving and appreciating! I’ll do anything not to disappoint you! E.R.” she wrote on her Facebook page.

Recall that Eva Rivas (born Valeria A. Reshetnikova-Tsaturyan) represented Armenia at the international Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo with the Apricot Stone song, and took 7th place. Eva’s repertoire includes hits like Tamam Ashkharh (The Whole World), Langer Marjan, Hayrenik, and Hayastan (Armenia).
