Armenia’s famous weightlifter Hripsime Khurshudyan got married to a weightlifter Taron Tovmasyan. As NEWS.am STYLE reported earlier, the wedding took place in the 14th century church. After the ceremony in church, the young couple went to the restaurant complex "Shant", where the actual wedding party took place.

Emphasizing the similarity of the professions, the young couple chose a wedding cake and wedding gifts in the shape of a rod with a butterfly on it. Apart from these inconsistencies with the traditions, the wedding was in a true Armenian spirit, bestowing the mother-in-law and with a "dancing" barbecue.

Among the guests there were a lot of sports stars such as the honored coach of Armenia and Hripsime’s personal trainer Arman Ghazaryan, the director of the school where Khurshudyan was trained, Melik Ghukasian, Bazmaser Arakelyan, an athlete and weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan with her young husband and many others.

Of course, sports patron, head of Prosperous Armenia Party and one of the richest Armenian businessmen Gagik Tsarukyan didn’t miss this great festivity. Hripsime and Taron presented in gratitude to Gagik Tsarukyan the very bronze cup which Hripsime won in the London Olympics.

“I wish Hripsime great happiness, so that they are always together with Taros, and troubles do not touch them as long as possible,” Nasik Avdalyan wished her friend.

On the question of NEWS.am STYLE, whether she passed her fortune to Hripsime by the Armenian folk method “Tarose kez lini,” Nasik laughed. It turns out that it was true.

Nasik Hovhannisyan got married to the former weightlifter Eric Karapetyan on June 8, 5 months before Hripsime. Both married athletes are not going to give up their career.
