Henri Verneuil’s wife Francoise Bonnot died aged 79, msn reported, according to Critique-film.fr.
Francoise Bonnot, a film editor, was born in Bois-Colombes. She has worked on more than 40 films since 1962.
Bonnot won an Oscar for Z and a BAFTA Award for Missing among dozens of credits.
She worked with both Verneuil and Ridley Scott, Roman Polanski, Julie Taymor, Dario Argento, Michael Cimino, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Volker Schlöndorff.
Henri Verneuil and Francoise have a son Patrick Malakian and daughter Sophie. Francoise will be buried in the Armenian Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paris.
Instead of flowers for the funeral, Francoise’s relatives - Patrick, daughter in Malakian, her grandchildren - Lisa and Jules asked to make charitable contributions to a fund that helps people diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
