NEWS.am STYLE was the first to on Wednesday report that renowned American Armenian internet entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian had arrived in Armenia.
And the co-founder of Reddit and Initialized Capital is posting on Instagram photos from his travels around the country.
But Ohanian is in Armenia solely for one day, and he will leave on Wednesday. He is heading to London to support his wife, former World No.1-ranked women’s professional tennis player Serena Williams, who will compete at Wimbledon tennis tournament.
Alexis had already visited a market in Armenia.
Subsequently, he posted a photo of his, with Mount Ararat in the background, and holding a coin with the images of the mountain and of Noah’s Ark.
“One of my best friends since childhood gifted me this Armenian silver coin, emblazoned with Noah’s Ark and Ararat,” Alexis Ohanian commented regarding this photo. “I’ve been carrying it on me all over the world ever since.”
