Today Armenia is celebrating Vardavar-a ceremony during which people pour water on each other. Those who’re in Armenia know very well what we’re talking about and those who are now far away from homeland we’re sure are missing this celebration a lot.
NEWS.am STYLE has been near Swan Lake were the celebration is in its top. And we represent our photoshoot from that place of Yerevan.
Let us also mention, that this ancient festival is traditionally associated with the goddess Astghik, who was the goddess of water, beauty, love and fertility.
