In the video, which Lady Gaga had called a poetry of pain, it is not the only Armenian "trace;" the author of some of the characters is Armenian designer Karina Akobyan. According to her website, she was born in Russia, but now lives and works in London.
“it was lovely to see my work alongside references of one of my favourite filmmakers Sergei Parajanov who inspired my aesthetic in many ways," the designer wrote in Instagram.
The director of this music video is Tarsem Singh
As reported earlier, according to Lady Gaga, the new music video is about her mental health and how the reality and dreams can go hand-in-hand to shape the heroes within us and around us. "Something that was once my real life every day is now a film, a true story that is now the past and not the present,” she had written on Instagram.
