Four years ago Armenians became orphans, as the great French Armenian chansonnier Charles Aznavour passed away.
But why only Armenians? The whole world of music!
Not knowing a word of French, people were singing along Aznavour’s songs as if it were their mother tongue.
Aznavour knew how to reach everyone's heart, he loved people despite all their weaknesses, and he sang for them and about them.
Today we remember him with bright sadness.
And we sing, we have sung and we will sing again even if we often do not know beautiful words in French, but instead with love and a great and devoted love for Charles Aznavour.
