Also, he called out the silence of the Western media in this regard, and demanded swift international action to protect and save the Artsakh Armenians.
History tragically repeats itself as we witness Modern Genocide. The Armenian people, who have suffered for centuries because of their faith, have once again faced a harsh campaign of ethnic cleansing. Turkey and Azerbaijan carry out terrible atrocities against Armenians: starvation, forced deportation, murders, denial of access to basic necessities. They are the same Armenians who have lived on this land for generations, Gibson added in a video message.
Also, he called on the international community to take immediate action, and said it must extend a helping hand to the Armenians, which they desperately need now, and create a humanitarian corridor for their safe transportation.
And he said to the Armenian people who are still suffering: “Don't lose heart, God is with you.”
