Five years without Charles Aznavour. One of the most influential and famous Armenians in the world, a legendary French Armenian musician and an unfailing patriot, had passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving as a legacy his beautiful music and a great longing that is felt both by the members of his family as well as by Armenia and France plus the lovers of his music all over the world.

Aznavour's daughter-in-law, Kristina Aznavour, shared photos taken in Armenia in 2016 on Instagram, and wrote as follows to this post: "It's been 5 years since you left. From that moment on, the world stopped being the same. I know you've seen a lot of terrible things in your life, and I wonder how you managed to keep so much hope and love for life. During these years spent without you, it's as if we are all orphans, especially the Armenian nation, which lost with you its most powerful voice which we need so much..."
