Armenian Peggy Garabekian becomes the first Miss Sunshine title holder in the "Miss World America" competition
15:05 7 October, 2023American-Armenian beauty Peggy Garabekian became the first "Miss Sunshine" title holder of the "Miss World America" competition. Peggy received her title on October 5, during the finals of the "Miss World America" competition held in Washington.The winner of the competition is Victoria DiSorbo from Tennessee, who will represent the USA on December 16 at the "Miss World" pageant in India.
Speaking about her title, 29-year-old Peggy says she is honored to be "the historical part of the oldest beauty pageant."
"Last night I was made part of pageant history. I am officially the very first Miss Sunshine and one of the first ambassadors in the history of America's Miss World! My dreams continue to quite literally come true. Thank you GOD", she wrote on her Facebook page.
