House Of Cards has been renewed for a fourth season by Netflix, Daily Mail reported. On Thursday, the online streaming network announced that its Golden Globe-winning drama series would return in 2016.

Stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are expected to return as well.

'I will leave a legacy. #Underwood2016,' posted the official show account for House Of Cards on Twitter.

A photo posted along with the message showed a black background, an upside-down American flag, and another message: 'Season 4 Coming 2016.'

Considering the critical success of the dark drama, the renewal is not a surprise, but it did depend on availability of in-demand actors Kevin and Robin.
