Kim Kardashian Shares a Sneak Peek of Kanye West's 'American Idol' Audition
When the American Idol auditions rolled into San Francisco in October, among the starry-eyed contestants hoping to win a Golden Ticket into the music competition's final season was Kanye West.
Kanye West going to Hollywood? His wife, Kim Kardashian, isn't telling -- but she did share some footage of her husband's surprise American Idol audition on Twitter.
"It's YEEZY season!" she tweeted. "Can't wait for you guys to see Kanye on @AmericanIdol in January! #Idol"
The clip begins by showing Kim Kardashian dropping her husband off to the television studios as he declares: 'I'm Kanye from the South side of Chicago,' over the footage.
He's then seen making his way through the corridors before appearing in the audition room where the judges await him.
'I'm originally a producer. I always wanted to rap but nobody really believed in me so I wanted to try some things out,' he tells them, playing up to the programme's cliched backstories.
Unfortunately, the teaser doesn't show Kanye, 38, performing for the music professionals but it does depict his 35-year-old wife Kim - who was heavily pregnant with their son Saint at the time of filming - waiting in the wings with host Ryan Seacrest.
'I'm not nervous because I do really believe in him,' she tells the presenter.
