World-renowned American-Armenian violist Kim Kashkashian became Grammy Award recipient, in the “Best Classical Instrumental Solo” category, for her “Kurtág & Ligeti: Music For Viola.”
András Schiff (Bach: Das Wohltemperierte Clavier), Jory Vinikour (The Complete Harpsichord Works Of Rameau), Claudio Cruz (Gál & Elgar: Cello Concertos), and Hansjörg Albrecht (Holst: The Planets) were the other nominees in this category.
To note, the 55th Grammy Awards were held on Sunday.
