16:33, May 4

Sona Movsesian started as a production assistant on Conan O’Brien’s late-night talk show and ended up becoming his assistant. Movsesian, who is of Armenian heritage, never intended to be on camera, but she has become a familiar face to the Conan audience. Sona aquired great fame among Armenians after “Conan in Armenia” show, when she had a chance to visit the land of her ancestors: “I think that Conan just absorbed the fact that I’m very in tune with my culture and I had never been to Armenia,” she told Laweekly.

Movsesian was the only Armenian involved in making the episode and she became one of famous Armenians who rode on the “Discover Armenia” float in the 2016 Rose Parade.
