Andriaveti – an Italian brand with “Armenian” roots

10:40, May 15

YEREVAN. – The store of Italian Andriaveti brand presenting dresses, bags and accessories, has opened in Tashir Street shopping center in downtown Yerevan.

The brand has an interesting story with “Armenian” roots. Co-founder of the brand Sofi Andreasyan lives in Bolonga for about 12 years, Sofi told NEWS.am STYLE. She has been involved in production and delivery of clothing.

“My husband and I created the brand, it is acronym of our family names Andreasyan-Avetisyan, and it also sounded like an Italian name. The brand was created last year, and we decided to open our first store in native Armenia,” she said, expressing hope that local customers would really like their brand.
Sofi said the reason for opening the first store is that Italy-made clothing, bags and accessories are not that common in Yerevan.

“I think that I understand well what Armenian women want, both in terms of appearance and the quality,” Sofi said.

As to prices, the co-founder of the store described them as “medium and higher than medium prices”, adding that the clothes and accessories offered by the store are mainly made from natural materials.

“We guarantee the quality. Women are more careful while selecting dresses, and they are paying attention to all details. For example, silk garments are ‘dangerous’. You must be sure the dress will not lose its good look after washing,” she added.

The clothes of Andriaveti are being sold in the European stores and different chains in Russia.
Clothes and accessories by Maoro Frank, Isabel Garcia, Cardinal brands are represented at Andriaveti store in Armenia.
