Steven Seagal accused of raping

13:42, January 12

A woman who worked as an extra on Steven Seagal’s 1994 action movie On Deadly Ground, has said that he raped her after luring her to his house in Beverly Hills. Regina Simons, who was 18 at the time, told The Wrap that Seagal invited her to his Beverly Hills home in 1993 after production closed on the film, but she was the only person there.

“He took me into this room and then just closed the door and started kissing me,” she said.

“He then took my clothes off and before I knew it he was on top of me, raping me … I wasn’t sexually active yet. People always talk about fight-or-flight. But no one talks about the freeze.”

Simons also described her alleged first encounter with Seagal, which she said was during the open casting call for the movie in which they were looking to feature Native Americans (she’s part Navajo and part Sioux) and claims that he invited her and her brother into his trailer.

After mentioning she had a headache in the trailer, Simons claims that Seagal offered to give her a massage and rubbed her hand and neck before going to set.

Simons said that she contemplated coming forward but decided against it.
