NEWS.am STYLE represents you a column called For The First Time, the aim of which is to try to find out the “first times” of Armenian celebrities.

Today’s interview is with the actress Olya Hakobyan.

When for the first time did you realize you wanted to become an actress?

When I was about to apply for Armenian State Academy of Fine Arts in order to become a designer:)

Who is the first person with whom you share your news?

My Mom and some of my friends.

When did you fall in love for the first time?

I guess at the age of 7 or 8… Don't remember exactly…

When for the first time you told a guy you love him?

Oh, that was already, when I was rather grown up.

Your first disappointment…

I don't like to speak about disappointments. They give me a power to go ahead…

Your first challenge… How did you overcome that?

I have met my first challenges since I was 4 or 5 years old. When someone wanted to grip my toys, I wasn't giving up:)

Your first steps in the film industry.

I got a part in the TV series Inheritance by Shant TV, when I was 19. That was my first role.

Your first big success..

I think no matter how big is success, it's already a step ahead and I like to go further and further… So, every day is a success for me.

Your principles of life…

My kids, my parents…

Have you revealed something for the first time?

Yes, I had never talked about my first love before, and also I guess not many people knew that I was a rather tomboy kid :)
