Man is arrested over plot to kidnap singer Lana Del Rey
A man named Michael Hunt was arrested for attempted kidnapping with a weapon and aggravated stalking before the singer's concert at the Amway Center in Orlando, FLA, ENews has learned.
Riverview resident Michael Hunt, 43, was taken into custody on Friday after the Orlando Police Department alleged he made threats against the musician.
Hunt has been charged with attempted kidnapping with a weapon and aggravated stalking with a credible threat.
The 43-year-old was arrested at 9pm Friday evening as he was making his way to the Amway Center where Del Rey was scheduled to perform that evening.
Police said that they found a three-inch folding knife on Hunt and a purchased ticket to the performance, which attracted an estimated 8,000 people.
