A 55-year-old Johnny Depp sued the The Sun, who named him 'wife-beater', TMZ reported. 

The san wrote about the scandalous divorce of the actor. Johnny Depp, who divorced Amber Heard after being accused of assaulting him, provided strong evidence that he did not beat his former spouse.

“They must have made a positive decision to present a totally one-sided picture, leaving out my side of the story and pretending it either did not exist or was not worth considering,” he said.

Johnny presented the testimony of several witnesses who met Amber the day after the alleged assault on his part.

According to witnesses, they did not see bruises and abrasions on the face of the actress. The lawyers of the actor are working to prove that the former spouse has slandered their client and falsified the evidence.
