The 38-year-old Russian singer Anna Semenovich has revealed the reason for leaving Blestyashchiye (The shining ones) girl band.
According to her, five years of filming and tight tour schedule as a part of the popular quartet were a hard thing. Despite the fact that she was a former athlete, Anna felt ill.
The girls had a very busy schedule, including photo shoots, video filming and tours. They constantly had to fly from one city to another.
Semenovich recalled that they once had several concerts a day, as a result, the girls did not sleep the whole day, making eight flights. But they always had to stay fresh on the stage, blooming and full of energy.
In 2007, Semenovich was diagnosed with whooping cough.
Doctors insisted she had to give up singing, flying and had to have rest at least for a month. However, producers said that they cannot cancel the planned tours. Anna was given only three days to take antibiotics and return to the stage.
That was clearly the straw that broke the camel's back, the singer decided to leave the group.
Years later, Semenovich admitted that she put the whole matter behind her, as that gave the chance to start a solo career.
