Retailer Zara has sparked a heated debate over the representation of children within the fashion industry, after their latest campaign was labelled 'inappropriate' by many social media users.
Photographed by Fabien Baron, the campaign features a young girl dressed in a sleeved dress standing by the ocean. The anonymous woman shared deleted images and asked others if they felt uncomfortable with them.
“Personally, I don't like it. I think the poses and whole thing is inappropriate for a young girl,” she said. The journalists turned to Zara for comments, but have not yet received a response.
