Famous model and star of the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians Khloé Kardashian decided to cite Armenian American writer and genocide survivor William Saroyan on Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.

“Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia,” wrote Saroyan.

Four years ago, Khloé Kardashian and her sister, Kim visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
