The most prestigious horsing event of the year – Royal Ascot 2019 – has traditionally brought together representatives of the English aristocracy. Queen Elizabeth II attended and was accompanied by family members and other monarchs.
Ladies arrived at the racecourse wearing elegant dresses and hats, while the gentlemen were wearing suits. Kate Middleton drove out of Windsor Castle in the same carriage with her husband, Prince William, father-in-law Prince Charles and her mother-in-law Camilla Parker-Bowles.
The 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge chose a blue-colored Ellie Saab dress perfectly matched with a Philip Treacy hat. She was in a great mood, often smiled and in general was the star of the event.
Hat is a must at the event, and all guests always try to surprise by crazy décor, flowers and unusual forms. This year, fortunately for all fans of the show, there were many unusual hats.
