Prince Harry’s ex-Army hardman laughed at his love of pedicure

13:16, August 6

Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan Markle, 38, now have a joint beauty routine. The couple loved to go together for massage, manicure, and pedicure in the five-star Coworth Park hotel.

A pedicure starts at £50 and a deluxe massage is £140 for 80 minutes, The Sun reported.

And this caused surprise and ridicule among the former fellow soldiers of the prince, with whom he served in Afghanistan.

“Pedicures and massages? He’s changed!”

“Harry used to be a proper bloke — dodgy dress sense, liked a drink and didn’t care how he looked,” a pal said. “In his Army days he would have laughed if someone had offered him a pedicure.

“Now he’s pontificating about saving the world and doesn’t smoke or drink.”

The prince was serving in the British armed forces from 2005. At the beginning of his career, he asked to serve in Iraq, where the British military participated in the fighting. In 2007, he was sent to Afghanistan, where he served as the dispatcher of helicopters participating in battles with the Taliban for 2.5 months.

The prince’s business trip was kept a secret, so he was urgently evacuated from Afghanistan.

In September 2012, Prince Harry was again sent to Afghanistan for five months, serving as a pilot of a military helicopter. In June of this year, he completed his service in the British Army.
