Actor Dan Stevens, who made his name in “Downton Abbey”, will play the Russian participant of Eurovision in the Netflix comedy, Verity reported.
Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams will take part in the Icelandic-British project, who will play Icelandic contestants Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir.
The director of Eurovision, the filming of which has already begun in the UK and Iceland, is David Dobkin, who previously filmed the Shanghai Knights and Uninvited Guests comedies.
The next Eurovision should be held in the Netherlands, since in 2019 the representative of this country won the competition.
