Director James Cameron, as you know, is actively working on the continuation of his fantastic masterpiece ‘Avatar’, which for a decade led the list of the highest grossing movies in the world, earning $ 2.79 billion for its creators, CinemaBlend reported. 

However, more recently, an epic story of superheroes called ‘Avengers: Endgame’ broke the historical record, which raised $ 2.796 billion at the world box office, and shifted Cameron's brainchild to the second position of the rating.

Cameron is preparing for the most ambitious filming in his life: two more parts of Avatar.

“Will Avatar 2 and 3 be able to create that kind of success in the zeitgeist? Who knows. We’re trying. Maybe we do, maybe we don’t, but the point is, it’s still possible. I’m happy to see it, as opposed to an alternate scenario where, with the rapid availability, custom-designed experience that everybody can create for themselves with streaming services and all the different platforms, that [theatrical potential] might not have existed anymore,” he said.
