The actor, musician and frontman of the group 30 seconds to Mars Jared Leto does not know what happened to his fake head, which made a stir at the Met Gala Costume Institute ball in 2019.
His remarks came in an interview with GQ.
In May, Jared Leto came to one of the largest social events in New York - the Met Gala Costume Institute Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art - in a red long Gucci caftan with a high collar and gemstone jewelry. The attention of the fans was attracted by the unusual accessory of the celebrity: he had in his hands a full-sized copy of his own head.
However, it turned out that the fate of the famous head of the artist is unknown.
“I think someone may have stolen it,” he told the magazine of the replica, which reportedly cost around $11k according to The Cut. Playfully urging its return, Jared joked: 'If anyone out there finds it, bring it into your nearest Gucci store in exchange for a pair of dirty sneakers.'
