The American rapper Eminem turned to British musician Elton John for help in the fight against drug addiction, Daily Mail reported referring to the new biography "Not Afraid: The Evolution of Eminem."
Eminem was hospitalized in 2007 in an extremely serious condition due to an overdose of the powerful painkiller Vicodin.
“As a fellow musical superstar with nearly 30 years of sobriety under his belt, Elton John was the perfect mentor to help guide Marshall,” writes author Anthony Bozza in new biography, Not Afraid: The Evolution of Eminem, available November 5.
