The UK Queen Elizabeth II convened a family council, SkyNews reported.

According to the channel, the Queen, Prince of Wales Charles and the Duke of Cambridge William as well as Harry will gather on January 13 in the Sandringham family estate.

The council plans to discuss the decision of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle to quit as senior royals.

Meghan Markle flew away to her eight-month-old son Archie Harrison, who was under the supervision of a nanny for several days, while Harry stayed to resolve the issues.

As reported earlier, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle earlier announced on Instagram that they quit as senior royals and become financially independent. According to them, they will continue to support the queen and fulfill their duty to the Queen and the Commonwealth. The duke and duchess of Sussex are going to live both in UK and the US.
