Nigerian actress Funke Akindele-Bello has been arrested after hosting a party during a lockdown in the country, CNN reported.
The actress has been accused of hypocrisy as she was one of the celebrities who urged people to stay home.
The actress and her husband pleaded guilty to violating the quarantine. They were fined $ 260 and handed a 14-day community service sentence.
Akindele-Bello apologized on her Instagram after the video surfaced and explain that most of those present were members of her production crew who had been in self-quarantine at her studio while working on an upcoming film.
