American singer and songwriter John Prine has died at the age of 74 from complications of the novel coronavirus, Rolling Stone reports, citing his family.
Prine was diagnosed with coronavirus on March 17, after returning from a tour in Europe, and on March 26, the artist was hospitalized in critical condition.
John Prine was a star of country and folk music, two-time Grammy winner, and last year he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
