Broadway star, 41-year-old Canadian actor Nick Cordero, passed away aged 41 after COVID-19 fight, the Daily Star reported referring to Cordero's wife Amanda Kloots.
"God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth," she wrote on her Instagram.
"I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him," she added.
Nick was hospitalized at the end of March being diagnosed with pneumonia. He was put in an intensive care unit after a drop in his blood pressure and later was placed in a medically induced coma.
During his COVID-19 fight, Nick had his right leg amputated following complications.
He and Amanda had one-year-old son, Elvis Eduardo.
