Meghan Markle had planned her steps even before her wedding with Prince Harry, 35; the 38-year-old American actress had not even considered living in the UK, The Daily Mail reported citing royal photographer Arthur Edwards.
Now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in Los Angeles, in the mansion of a Hollywood magnate.
The couple has not yet acquired their own home, but they are in active search. Meghan wants to live in the immediate vicinity of Hollywood.
Arthur Edwards is convinced that Markle had a harmful effect on Prince Harry. According to Edwards, Harry has changed a lot since meeting Meghan—and not for the better.
"Unfortunately for the last couple of years, he has gone completely sour,” he said. “He didn't talk to me for a year. I've been photographing him since he was born, and it was down to her.”
"I think when she married Harry, she only thought about one thing: ‘Let's get out of here as soon as possible.’ It was nonsense ... Megan ‘dragged’ Harry behind him, and he showed absolutely no resistance," the photographer added.
Edwards also said that Meghan was going to leave London even before the wedding, and never return.
“I think the moment she married Harry it was 'right, let's get out of here as quick as we can,’" he added. “I mean, it was ridiculous.”
“It's [staying in the UK] not in her plans, and she is dragging Harry along, and unfortunately, he's gone along with it,” Arthur Edwards added․
