Jerry Harris, the star of Netflix's Cheer, has arrested on suspicion of urging a 13-year-old boy to take sexually explicit videos and photos, the Daily Mail reported.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation inquired about Harris after allegations of his sexual misconduct with minors. He was arrested three days after a search that was conducted in his house.

In the criminal complaint, Harris is accused of contacting two boys on social media, as early as 2018, and soliciting explicit images from both of them.

The organizations named in the lawsuit are US All Star Federation, which governs competitive cheerleading; Varsity Spirit, which puts on competitions; and the Cheer Athletics, a chain of gyms.

To note, Jerry Harris helped former Vice President and US presidential candidate Joe Biden during his election campaign. In the summer, Harris interviewed Biden on Instagram about the passivity of the electorate during the elections.
