K&K Promotions has sued Disney over the character in the animated film Toy Story 4, Comic Book Portal reports.
Toy Story 4 features a new character, Duke Caboom, a stuntman. It turns out that the head of K&K Promotions is the son of famous stuntman Evel Knievel. According to the head of K&K Promotions, in Toy Story 4, the Duke Caboom character is a parody of Evel Knievel, and the toy of Duke Caboom seems to be directly lifted from a similar 1970s toy featuring Knievel.
K&K Promotions claims that it has exclusive rights over the character, story and Knievel’s trademark and declares that there was no consent for copying the character of a stuntman in the film Toy Story.
