American singer Daniel Decker is already in Yerevan. After the arrival he did his first post on Facebook mentioning how proud he is by calling himself “Armenian by choice”.
“It is my first night in Yerevan and already I am deeply moved by the emotions here. While there is deep sadness for the many soldiers whose lives were taken while defending the Republic of Artsakh, I am inspired by the righteous determination and strength of character of every Armenian. The defense of Artsakh is a righteous cause, and is a defining moment for Armenia. I have often said that "if you measure Armenia by the size of the territory it controls, you might say it is a small country. However, if you measure Armenia by the size of the Armenian heart, it is truly a mighty empire!"
This war is real, but the outcome has not yet been written and I firmly believe that victory can be achieved. Let every Armenian, in Armenia and in every country around the world, stand together and with one voice say "Free Artsakh!! Recognize Artsakh!!! We stand with Artsakh and Armenia!!!"
As an Armenian by choice and as a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, I am proud to stand with you! I have never been more proud to be called Armenian!!
Daniel Decker(yan)”, writes the singer.
