American rapper Lil Yase was gunned down aged 25 after recording a new track, TMZ reported.

Before his death, the musician left a recording studio near San Francisco, where he recorded a new track. Lil Yase's label Highway 420 Productions posted a tribute post on his Instagram account dedicated to the rapper.

The label shared a teaser video for Yase's song 'Top Dog' and asked fans to share it and tag Thizzler's San Francisco, California music store so they could release the full version after the rapper's death.
