Spanish director, screenwriter, and producer, winner of two Oscars, Pedro Almodovar, has named 2020 top movies, Indiewire reported.
The director was fascinated by “First Cow,” by Kelly Reichardt, calling it 'a captivating, delicious western.'
His list also includes “The Devil All The Time,” by Antonio Campos, “Another Round,” by Thomas Vintenberg, “Swallow,” by Carlo Mirabella-Davis, “Ya no estoy aquí” (“I’m No Longer Here”), Mexico’s nomination for the Oscars, by director Fernando Frías, “Little Joe,” by Jessica Hausner, “Never Rarely Sometimes Always,” by Eliza Hittman, “The Painter and the Thief,” by Benjamin Ree.
