British choreographer Liam Scarlett died aged 35, BBC reported with reference to his family.

The artist died on April 16 in Ipswich. Some publications believe that he has committed suicide.

Liam Scarlett was born in 1986 in Ipswich. He graduated from the Royal Ballet School in London and has performed at the Royal Theater, Covent Garden since 2006.

Scarlett has also worked with ballet companies all over the world.

In January 2020, Covent Garden reported that the choreographer was suspended from work due to alleged harassment of dancers. However, the theater's investigation did not confirm the allegations.
