While Sex and the City fans are waiting for their favorite actors to return to the screens, star Kim Cattrall seems to have explained her absence from the reboot.

According to the actress, for the sake of the role of Samantha, she sacrificed a lot in her time: her personal life, the opportunity to have a child, and even health.

“I lost a marriage to the series and a lot of friends,” Cattrall revealed, according to Sex and the City and Us. “You just have no life.”

The production of the new series is scheduled to begin this summer in New York. The continuation of the story of friends will consist of 10 episodes.
