In May, 55-year-old actress Julianna Margulies released her memoir Sunshine Girl: Unexpected Life and told about 69-year-old Steven Seagal.
On a recent talk show with actress Drew Barrymore, she spoke about an unpleasant episode 30 years ago. In 1989, she worked as a waitress and was casting for her debut film Out for Justice. The film was produced and starred by Steven Seagal.
He invited the aspiring actress late at night to his hotel room for audition.
“It was a frightening moment,” Margulies said. “He asked me to sit on this couch and underneath this cushion... I jumped up, there was something hard [beneath the cushion], and he pulled out a gun. And he said, ‘Oh, I must have left my gun there.’”
“I’m 23, and I realise that I’m in an action star’s hotel room with a gun... I had never seen a gun before and he’s six-feet-four and no one knows where I am.”
