Britney Spears' lawyer Samul Ingham, who has been representing the singer's interests in the custody case since 2008, has resigned, Deadline reported.

Along with Ingham, the law firm Loeb & Loeb announced its withdrawal from the custody case of the singer. Both decisions, as well as a similar statement by the financial company Bessemer Trust, filed last week, now must be approved by the court.

According to Forbes, Ingham charges $ 475 an hour for his services, and over 13 years of working with Spears, he earned millions.

Spears noted that in the court he told her to keep her mouth shut.
