Actress Jodie Turner-Smith, who played Anne Boleyn, fell victim to robbers during the Cannes Film Festival, Variety reported.
While the girl was having breakfast, the attackers made their way into her room at the Marriott Hotel on Boulevard de la Croisette. The robbers took out jewelry worth more than tens of thousands of euros. No signs of intrusion were found, so it is assumed that the robbers used the key card. One of the stolen pieces of jewelry was Jody's mother's wedding ring.

After the robbery, Turner-Smith was immediately transferred to the Majestic Hotel, located a couple of blocks from the Croisette. The actress was also assigned round-the-clock security. She is in town with her one-year-old daughter.
Turner-Smith may have been targeted after wearing gold and diamond jewelry from the Gucci High Jewelry line to the After Young premiere on Thursday night. Although the jewelry was immediately returned after the premiere, it is speculated that the robbers may have infiltrated the actress's room, believing that the belongings were still in her possession.
