Christina Applegate has announced on Twitter that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) a few months ago.

The American actress asked from her fans isolation during her fight against the disease.

"It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some asshole blocks it," Applegate added on Twitter.

At the age of 36, the actress was diagnosed with breast cancer. Even though the latter was diagnosed at its early stage, she had to undergo a double mastectomy to avoid possible complications.
